As a passionate and lifelong artist, photographer, and designer, I have always been drawn to the exploration of dynamic shapes and textures (both natural and artificial) in primarily abstract forms. .
My approach to abstract photography explores the interactions between various liquids to create beautiful, fluid, natural moments that are frozen in time, through the lens. Mixing and blending various inks, alcohols, and dyes, I focus on movement while introducing light and various external influences to help persuade the media into dynamic compositions, with my camera at the ready, waiting for the perfect moment.
By exploring the convergence of diverse elements, my photography encapsulates the continuous evolution of form and meaning, leaving ample room for personal interpretation and reflection, as the inks, alcohols, water, and other fluids twist and curl, creating an ethereal, almost ghostly tableau.
My work invites interpretations that bridge the gap between the organic and the abstract, where fluid dynamics become sculptural. By focusing on these forms, these images invite a meditation on motion and impermanence, prompting us to reflect on the transient beauty of these captured instances and the broader narratives they may represent.
